I completed my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute. My doctoral dissertation focused on the adolescent female's response to an emotionally absent, depressed father. I received a Masters of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marital and Family Therapy from California Lutheran University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley.

I am licensed as a Psychologist with the California Board of Psychology (Lic. #34203) and also licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (Lic. #50699). I am certified in multiple evidence-based practices including: Standard and Teen Triple P (Positive Parenting), Managing and Adapting Practice (MAP), Seeking Safety, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy.

I worked as an MFT Trainee at Community Counseling Services, a sliding-scale outpatient treatment center on the California Lutheran University campus. I also have experience treating dual diagnosis patients at a private residential treatment facility in Malibu, and at Tarzana Treatment Centers working with high-risk adolescents with co-occurring disorders. I completed my post-doctoral internship at San Fernando Valley Community Mental Health Center, Inc.–an outpatient treatment center that serves children and adolescents in the San Fernando Valley.
